Glynn County Transitioning to the SEGARRN System

Archives

Brunswick – Last night when I arrived back in Brunswick I heard Glynn County FD traffic on the SEGARRN 700/800 MHz trunked system that is also used by Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties, so it seems that Glynn County is or has transitioned from their single county system to the multi-county system covering much of coastal Georgia. I haven’t heard enough to report any further, but I’ll post again after I’m able to put together some data on what I’m hearing.

For those wanting to monitor public safety in Glynn County, this is pretty much going to mean you’ll need to purchase a digital scanner.
