Road Trip Monitoring Report – Charleston, SC 13 January 2016

Charleston, SC – I spent most of the day playing tourist at Patriot’s Point and Fort Sumter, but I left the radios on automatic in the mobile station and reviewed their recordings later in the evening. One thing I noticed yesterday and today is that the downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant areas don’t seem to have as many RFI and intermod issues as Savannah does; it’s definitely a “friendlier” monitoring environment than at home.
