Photos from High Falls State Park; 30 September 2014

Forsyth – Late Tuesday afternoon, I decided to visit High Falls State Park again while I’m here in Forsyth. The day started off foggy and dreary but by late afternoon the fog had burned off, the cloud cover was gone, and it had turned into a beautiful day. A walk down one of the trails yielded some good views of the Towaliga River and the falls. The water level this time was a bit lower and I was able to step out onto some rocks for a better view of the falls.

While visiting the falls, I had the chance to watch the GSAR Central Task Force do some rescue training; photos from that are in a separate post.
