Updated Southeast Georgia AirEvac Frequencies; 30 November 2013

Archives

SAVANNAH, GA – It’s been awhile since I posted about the AirEvac Lifteam Helicopters in the Southeast Georgia area and it’s time to update the AirEvac list with more Mode-S information. Previously I wasn’t able to obtain AirEvac 90’s Mode-S code because it doesn’t come to Savannah as often as the others.  Tonight it came in to Savannah Memorial with a patient and I was able to snag its Mode-S code off of the RadarBox and I added it to the list below.  Unless they change locations, frequencies, or aircraft, this should pretty much be the final version of the list.  The list below also includes links to each AirEvac base’s Facebook page if you’re interested in keeping up with them.

AirEvac 96 (N416AE)

AirEvac 96 (N416AE)

Air Evac Lifeteam 90, Waycross (N409AE, Mode-S A4CE15) – 160.110 (DCS 026)
Air Evac Lifeteam 91,Vidalia (N269AE, Mode-S A2A071 ) – 151.730 (DCS 115)
Air Evac Lifeteam 95 , Statesboro (N296AE, Mode-S A30BC9) – 151.510 (DCS 072)
Air Evac Lifeteam 96, Jesup (N416AE, Mode-S A4EA6F) – 159.675 (DCS 226)

As noted in my September 2011 post, many thanks is do to Bill Collins for his legwork on finding frequencies.  Thanks also to James Erickson, KI4RAC for passing on the DCS code for Air Evac 90 in Waycross.  Mode-S information comes from the RadarBox at my home station.
