A Day of Recording Yields Some SEGARRN Updates

Archives

Today, I let the BD996T run in search mode on the Chatham SEGARRN site with ARC996 Pro recording the traffic.  It yielded a pretty good haul, finding some new talkgroups, identifying two, and probably identifying another.

TG 415 sounds like (and it should be based on the formula of multiplying the TG number by 16 to get the Chatham-Effingham TRS TG number) the Air Guard FD at Savannah IAP (TG 6640 on the Chatham-Effingham TRS).  There were just 4 recorded hits on the TG 415 today which indicates that they probably aren’t on SEGARRN yet but someone that is has the talkgroup programmed in their radio.

TG 1619 is Rincon FD (TG 25904 on the Chatham-Effingham TRS).  Once again, there were only a small number of recorded hits which indicates that they probably aren’t on SEGARRN yet but someone that is has the talkgroup programmed in their radio.

TG 12815 sounds like Liberty County FD.  Recorded traffic from today yielded locations in Liberty Co, mention of a Long County station, and mentions of Fire Stations and a support unit.  The traffic was mostly casual or admin type, there was no dispatch or incident related traffic

Talkgroups 837 and 839 are new to me but the recordings were minimal and didn’t yield anything that might identify them.
